Do you make the gates yourselves?

Yes. Gates are built to your measurements from pressure-treated timber, framed, ledged and braced. That is why we can handle odd-sized openings that off-the-shelf gates never fit.

How long from quote to fitted gate?

Typically one to two weeks depending on the build queue. Fitting itself is usually done in a morning, including setting posts.

Can you match my existing fence?

Usually, yes. Tongue-and-groove, featheredge, and contemporary slatted styles are all standard builds — bring a photo of the fence and we will match the board style and height.

Do I need to treat the timber?

The timber comes pressure-treated, so it is protected against rot from day one. A coat of stain or oil once a year keeps the colour; left alone it weathers to a natural silver-grey.

What about the old gate?

We take the old gate and any old posts away as part of the job.
